Photos, Photos Everywhere

Technology is bringing the simple act of taking a picture to higher and higher levels.  Mobile devices such as smart phones and iPads appear to be taking over traditional cameras in popularity.  Photo-storage and photo-sharing websites are multiplying.  How does one figure it all out?

Professional photographer Joel Simpson will discuss all these issues!  This program will address the pros and cons of using mobile devices as cameras, the continuing advantages of cameras, and how to decide what to use in various environments.  He will also provide a look into the various photo-sharing websites such as Picasa, Flickr, Instagram, Dropbox, Shutterfly, and Snapfish and discuss some of the dangers that surround photo-sharing.

MRB Jazz Trio

A warm June evening is a perfect time for jazz! The MRB Jazz Project will be performing jazz favorites. The trio--Michael Alan Pasqua (piano), Bruce Riccitelli (drums), and Tony Venture (bass)--will perform classic jazz, along with their take on sultry bossa novas and fiery Latin jazz. The trio has been providing classic jazz since 2005, performing in a wide variety of venues. Recently, they performed for the pre-concert reception at the Academy of Music in Philadelphia for the Philadelphia Orchestra's 158th Anniversary Concert and Ball. Now they are going to perform for Westfield!

Creative Movement for All

Youngsters will enjoy exploring exercise through imaginative techniques. With movement games, participants will jump for joy, meet puppet friends, hula hoop, and have streamer fun.
