Zinio is the Westfield Memorial Library's magazine database. 

Zinio gives you intuitive navigation and search features.  Zinio gives you the magazine articles in their original formats with all illustrations and charts included and even video and audio.   As of June 2014 the Westfield Library subscribes to 34 magazines through Zinio.

Overdrive Advantage

Overdrive Advantage is a special service that the Westfield Library subscribes to that provides additional licenses for ebooks. Thanks to Overdrive Advantage, you have a shorter waittime for ebooks.

Book Club Kits

Each kit contains ten paperback copies of the same title, discussion questions, and other resources. You can check out a kit and distribute the books among your book club members. Each member now has a copy of the next book to be discussed without any extra work at all. Convenient and easy!

As they rehearse, the prisoners, many of whom are long termers and lifers for serious crimes, find that the classic play has both a striking resonance and contrast to their confined lives.

Downloading Zinio Magazines

Zinio Magazines is our newest downloadable resource, recreatinng dozens of magazines such as 'National Geographic Traveler,' 'Shape,' 'Bloomberg Business,' 'Cosmopolitan,' 'Newsweek,' 'Food Network Magazine,' and 'Smithsonian'

Zinio is accessible through PCs, MACs, iPhones, iPads, Androids, Kindle Fire/FireHD, Nook HD/HD+, and BlackBerry Playbook.

Andrew Gross from RBdigital Recorded Books will demonstrate each step of the process to select and download Zinio magazines to your laptop or mobile device.  This is not a hands-on workshop, but feel free to come with your questions and devices!

Summer Science Fair!

Who has more germs in their spit -- dogs or humans?

There are so many interesting questions in the world!  Here's your chance to think of one and conduct an experiment!  Just sign up, conduct your experiment on your own time (we have lots of books to help you think up ideas) then come to our Science Fair evening and show us what you found out!
