Enjoy the pen and ink drawings, oils, and watercolors of Westfield resident and Library Friends member Linnea W. Rhodes.  Ms. Rhodes' art reflects her times spent in and around Westfield, upstate New York, and Europe.

Anne Hall Speakers Series: The Olmsted Historic Landscape Legacy in New Jersey

Frederick Law Olmsted was America's first and most prominent landscape architect.  Famous for New York's Central and Prospect Parks, Frederick himself, his two sons, and his firm also designed a number of parks in the Garden State.  Come learn about the Olmsted legacy in our state at this informative lecture event.

Naomi Desiderio: Author of Hell at Sea

Roosevelt called Nazi Germany's U-Boats the "wolfpacks of the Atlantic." Join us for a talk by local author, Naomi Desidero. Mrs. Desiderio's book 'Hell at Sea' is a fictionalized account of a young American woman taken prisoner on a Nazi German U-boat during WWII.

 

 

 

 

Charles Addams Month: "The Thing" A Tribute to Charles Addams
