Are there other rules about borrowing the passes?

Yes, there are several.

A family may only borrow one "Premium" museum pass at a time. A family may borrow two "2Fer" museum passes.

A family may only borrow the same pass once every three months.

How long may I keep a pass?

Four days.

Who may use the pass with me?

Every museum has different rules about its pass. Please check the guidelines for each specific pass.

How may I pick up and return a museum pass?

Museum passes are available on a first come first served basis. You cannot reserve a pass in any way. Passes are available at the Westfield Library. Please return the pass in person to the circulation desk.

What will it cost me?

It's free! (Unless it's returned late or lost)

What if I don't return a pass on time?

Failure to return the pass will result in a fine of $10.00 per day (with a maximum fine of $200.00). Failure to return the pass container will result in a fine of $5.00. Patrons will be charged for a new museum pass in the event that is lost.

Do all the passes work the same way?

Each museum has different guidelines for its pass. Please respect the guidelines.  It is up to the patron to determine the museum's hours. Remember, you may only borrow one Premium pass at a tim.

What are the American Children's Museum reciprocal network and the Art Museum reciprocal network?

The reciprocal networks allow you to use a museum pass at other institutions. For example, the Children's Museum of Manhattan pass and the Garden State Discovery Museum passes are valid for admission at all the institutions in the American Children's Museum reciprocal network.
